Local favorite Hilliard’s Brewing (1550 NW 49th St) is set to release their latest seasonal canned brew “Chrome Satan” this Friday, May 9, from 7 p.m. in their taproom.
The brew has been on tap for quite a while and now the folks at Hilliard’s are ready for locals to sample it on the go.
The name Chrome Satan comes from anagram and it is light copper in color. The brew contains a mix of Crystal Specialty malt, Golding hops and Czech Pilsner yeast and is 5.7% ABV.
All are welcome to celebrate at the release part where Plum Bistro will be providing the seitan.

“The name Chrome Satan comes from anagram. . .”
Which anagram?
-Aroma Stench?
-Amore Snatch?
-Shat on Cream?
Meat Anchors!
And hey, better anagram than pentagram, right?
It’s actually Anchor Steam, all joking aside, a take on the steam beer style from California.
Anagram for Ornate Chasm?
Yawn…..white people and their beer.
