Parents looking for an athletic way for their elementary or middle school aged children to spend their summer have the option of a trio of basketball camps over the next two months.
Hoopaholics has space remaining in its three week-long basketball camps in July and August for boys and girls in second through eighth grades of any skill level. The camps, which run from July 22 to 25, August 12 to 15, and August 25 to 28, are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. The first two camps will be held at Ballard High School, with the third at the Ballard Boys & Girls Club.
The camps are designed to build individual and team skills in a fun and safe learning environment, and emphasize learning basketball fundamentals like footwork, shooting technique, and team defense. Above all else, Hoopaholics says the goal of the camps are to give young players confidence in their abilities and to foster excitement for the game.
The cost is $490 for all three camps, $190 for one camp, and $60 per day.
