Earlier today, Bartell Drugs announced plans for their new store set to open in 2016 in the Ballard Commons development at 5605 22nd Ave NW. The announcement confirms that the two Bartell Drugs locations in Ballard (at 1500 NW Market St and at 5605 22nd Ave NW) are here to stay.

The new 14,000-square-foot Bartell’s location is set to be the major retail store in the development and will include underground parking for customers.
“This is another milestone in our longtime commitment to Ballard. During construction of the new store, we look forward to serving customers at our Market Street location,” said George D. Bartell, chairman and CEO.
