- Loyal Heights Halloween Carnival at Loyal Heights Community Center (2101 NW 77th St) from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Festivities include carnival games, crafts, mini pumpkin decorating, cake walk and ghastly prizes. Game tickets are 50 cents or you can purchase an unlimited wristband for $12.

- Seattle Heritage Tree Dedication at 1525 NW 59th St at 12 p.m. This Seattle Heritage Tree Dedication Ceremony will honor the Giant Sequoia in the back yard of Ballard resident, Jeannie Rae.

- Halloween on Holman at Carkeek Plaza and Holman Road Square Shopping Centers from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. Ghosts, ghouls and goblins of all ages are invited to “trick or treat” at the 5th annual event for kids in costume accompanied by an adult. The event is also a food drive for the Greenwood and Ballard Food Banks.
