Ballard teen John Hunt is one of the 16 finalists for the Better Business Bureau’s Students of Integrity Scholarship. The scholarship is offered by the BBB Foundation to support students who recognize the importance of ethical and responsible marketplace practices.
Applications for the $10,000 are open to students in Alaska, Oregon and Western Washington in order to help students have an opportunity for high er education.
In addition to the application process, students have to create a 90 second video about how the BBB assists and supports consumers in relation to identity theft and fraud, online marketplace scams, phony online reviews or charity scams.
“I have created an original video for the Better Business Bureau on identity theft and how to protect yourself against it,” says Hunt.

To win the scholarship Hunt needs as many views on his video as possible. “I’m hoping the Ballard community can help me win the scholarship,” says Hunt.
