This Saturday locals will be able to have their Goodwill donations delivered directly via Uber pick up.
Donors can open the app between 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. tomorrow and request a pickup for their donations to be delivered directly to Ballard Goodwill free of charge.
Locals simply click on the GIVE option inside the app tomorrow to have their donations picked up.
If you would like to donate, make sure to check out the instructions below:
- All clothing must be bagged for drivers to accept donations.
- Drivers will arrive at requested pickup locations. Donors are responsible for bringing bags outside as drivers cannot leave their vehicles unattended.
- For those who have already completed their spring cleaning and donations, or live in areas where Uber isn’t available, monetary donations can be made to Goodwill online.
This is the first time that Seattle has been able to take advantage of this promotion that has had great success across the the country in New York, Boston and San Francisco.
