Throwback Thursday: a glimpse of NW Market St. in the old days

In the spirit of Throwback Thursday, today we take a look at the NW Market St. of yesteryear.

The above photo is the Roxy Theatre in 1920 (now the Majestic Bay Theatre) on NW Market St. The sign reads “Walter Huston – Keep Em Rolling & Vodvil,” and the price was $0.15 for a movie.
