Ballard will experience one of the biggest block parties ever this Saturday, with the city shutting down seven miles of streets. It’s part of Summer Parkways, the city’s new event to allow people run carefree through the streets and meet their neighbors.
The Sustainable Ballard Festival will be happening at the same time in the center of it all at Ballard Commons Park. This is the festival’s 12th year, and activities will include a garden party, live music, yoga classes, cider pressing and skate clinics. For a full list of events, click here.
