If you want to learn more about the history of Seattle concert art from the 60s, tonight’s your night: Maritime Pacific Brewing Co. will host a book signing and release party for a compilation book of psychedelic concert posters. It’s called Split Fountain Hieroglyphics: Psychedelic Concert Posters from the Seattle Area, 1966-1969, compiled by Scott McDougall, who will be at the signing. The book contains almost 200, full color illustrations of the concert art, including artist interviews and essays.
The book signing will be from 5 to 8 p.m in the Jolly Roger Taproom at the brewery. There will be no cover and the signing is open to all ages.
