The music festival created in honor of Edith Macefield is back again for its third year, happening this weekend, October 2 – 4. The Macefield Music Festival will feature over 20 bands playing in the heart of Ballard in several local music venues and at an outdoor stage on Saturday.
The shows start Friday at 6 p.m. at the Sunset Tavern, the Tractor and Conor Byrne. On Saturday, there will be music starting at 2 p.m. and going till late, spread between Sunset, Tractor, Conor Byrne, Sonic Boom, Hotel Albatross, and the outdoor KEXP mainstage at 20th and Ballard Ave. On Sunday, all shows will be at the Tractor.
