Ballard business owner Leslie Pierson was featured on the Today Show this morning as part of their “Next Big Thing” competition. The Retrofitted Designs owner has made it to the final stages of the competition with her new product, Good Hangups.
After a successful Kickstarter campaign, Pierson designed the magnetic hanging system for posters and art which subsequently caught the eye of Today Show producers. The product is a true creation of the community, which was both designed locally and promoted through a video that was produced in the neighborhood by a number of Ballardites.
“The Good Hangups system turns walls and other surfaces into instant magnetic boards to hang your posters and art. They are removable and reusable and don’t create holes in walls and surfaces,” writes Pierson on her website.
