Seattle based producer Greg Phillips is on the lookout for a local family to feature in a national television spot.
Phillips is producing the one minute national spot for Scripps Networks (Great American Country/HGTV/Food Network) and is looking for a real family to cast as soon as possible.
Phillips is looking for a Mom and her husband/male partner who are (or at least look) in their mid to late 30s with a couple of kids, in the 6-10 years age range.
In terms of the character, Mom juggles lots of activities, demands and responsibilities. Location wise, her kitchen should be traditional and not overly modern. It should be homey, warm, natural, lived in and authentic. The product that is being featured is bean soup.
“Our shoots are a lot of fun and honestly, pretty easy,” says Phillips. “We’ll come with a food stylist and hair/makeup person so you’ll really feel like a star! And in addition to $500 for your efforts, you’ll have a cool, professionally-shot story featuring your family and kitchen (great for Facebook posts and real estate listings).”
The one day shoot needs to take place on any day between Monday – Friday, November 9-13, although Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday (Nov 10-12) of that week is preferred. The shooting start time is flexible and the team would need Mom to be available the whole day (with plenty of downtime to check work email, etc.). Dad and the kids would need to be present but not necessarily the entire time.
Any Mom interested in applying should submit a brief bio of her and her family, including everyone’s ages, plus pictures of everyone and a couple of shots of the kitchen. Email submissions to Greg@GPCreativeMedia.com.
