What: Bringing in Community: Ballard
When: Friday, November 20th 6:30 pm-8:30 pm
Where: Cheryl Chow Court, 2014 NW 57th St
There will be an event held this Friday hosted by Bringing in Community. This is an effort to bring varying communities together; this week, features Ballard. It will be held at the Cheryl Chow Gathering Space, across from Greenfire and the Ballard Libary. It is free and open to the Ballard public. Attendees are asked to bring a plate of home baked cookies to share with neighbors. They will also be accepting packaged goods donations for Ballard Food Bank.
There will be live music by Half Rushmore, an art project and food. Neighbors from community organizations will also share historical information of their organization, as well as their efforts for communities today.
This project is funded in part by a Neighborhood Matching Fund Award from the City of Seattle, Department of Neighborhoods.
