Ballard artist, Marika Garland, has her art showing right now in Ballard at BaBaLouise (616 NW 65th St). Marika’s business, Dirtie Dog Photography, is all about capturing images and the essence of our beloved companions; dogs and cats. This particular exhibit is focused on BaBaLouise stylists’ pets. “Some of the dogs are usually at the salon, so they are like little local celebrities,” says Marika. “I started my path as a photographer as a kid taking portraits of my pets. It’s where my heart belongs, and I absolutely adore spending time with people and the animals they love.”
