What: Annual Winter Solstice Party, Potluck and Pottery Sale
When: Friday, December 18th, 6pm-10pm
Where: Ballard Elks Club (6411 Seaview ave. N.W)

This is not a member-only event, everyone is welcome to attend.

Attendees are asked to bring a potluck item and something to drink. There will be live music, a dance floor, potluck and a gathering of potters and other artists to sell ware for the holidays.

This year, Holly Gustafson-Gold, Shelby Smith and Rik Reinholdtsen will be hosting the event. Lifetime Ballard potters, Carrie Gustafson and Regnor Reinholdtsen (the parents of this year’s hosts) put on the Solstice for the community on Sunset Hill for many years.  Carrie and Regnor, respectively, passed away from Cancer last year, so Holly, Shelby and Rik are continuing the tradition.

Donations will gladly be received in a bin at the event in support of the Regnor and Carrie Scholarship Fund to “assist low income children, adult’s and senior’s access to arts programs in Ballard. This season’s donations will go towards supporting scholarships at Ballard teaching pottery studio: Fayezart”
