FRIDAY, December 18:

  • Annual Winter Solstice Party, Potluck and Pottery Sale, 6pm-10pm, Ballard Elks Club (6411 Seaview ave. N.W). Open attendance, everyone is welcome to attend. Guests are asked to bring a potluck item and beverage.
  • Benefit concert and presentation for One Million Kids for Equality at the Salmon Bay Eagles-FOE#2141 (5216 20th Ave NW), 6:30pm-midnight, Cost: General Admission: $10, raffle tickets: 2 for $5, and additional donations are greatly appreciated
  • Tumble Swede Scandinavian Restaurant pop up restaurant. Seatings are at 5pm and 7:30pm at the Ballard Bridge Cafe (4609 14th Ave NW #108). Cost is $80 per person, which includes the meal and gratuity. Beverages not included.
  • Live Music
    • The Lonesome Billies, Ole Tinder, The Hasslers, 9PM $8 at Conor Byrne Pub (5140 Ballard Ave NW)

  • Winter Solstice Yoga Ceremony at Kula Movement 3pm-6pm, $45 Open yourself to new possibilities. Let go of the past and create an empowered future
  • Greyhound Meet and Greet at All the Best Pet Care (1909 NW Market St.) from 11am-1pm.  We welcome everyone in our neighborhood and beyond to get acquainted with these gentle souls! Please join us to meet retired racing greyhounds, learn about adoption, volunteer opportunities and more.
