The much anticipated opening of Arashi Ramen is finally here!
The new spot opened last month at the former location of Uma Thai (5401 20th Ave NW) location, which closed in January 2015.
The new eatery is the second spot for Arashi Ramen, with its original restaurant reportedly being the “it” spot for ramen down in Tukwila.
According to a report by our news partners at The Seattle Times, construction delays were the cause of the long wait.
In terms of the menu, there are nine different ramen options that are served in a rich, pork broth (tonkotsu). For an extra $5 guests can make their meal a combo with a salad and choice of appetizers. Check out their full menu here.
The 29-seat eatery will be open for lunch Tuesday through Sunday from 11:30 a.m.- 2:30 p.m. Dinner hours will be from 5 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and Sunday and 5 -p.m. – 10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Closed Mondays.
