Development Update June 16: Apartment buildings and subdivisions

One application and plenty of decisions make up today’s update from the City of Seattle’s Department of Construction and Inspections as posted in the Land Use Information Bulletin.

Application:

8509 14th Ave NW

A Land Use Application has been submitted to allow two, 4-story apartment buildings with a total of 24 units; 18 small efficiency dwelling units and 6 apartment units. Existing residential structure to be demolished.

Decisions:

1520 NW 87th St

A Land Use Application has been approved to subdivide one development site into five parcels of land. Project also includes unit lot subdivision of Parcel A into two unit lots. The construction of live/work units and residential dwelling units has been approved under Project #6395342. This subdivision is for the purpose of allowing sale or lease of the individual live/work units and residential dwellings units. Development standards will be applied to the development site as a whole and not to each of the new lots and unit lots.

1737 NW 63rd St

A Land Use Application has been approved to subdivide one development site into two unit lots. The construction of residential units is under Project #6466981. This subdivision of property is only for the purpose of allowing sale or lease of the unit lots. Development standards will be applied to the original parcel and not to each of the new unit lots.

1427 NW 65th St

A Land Use Application has been approved to allow a 4-story apartment building containing 22 units. No parking proposed. Existing structure to be demolished.

6735 Alonzo Ave NW

A Land Use Application has been approved to subdivide one development site into three unit lots. The construction of residential units is under Project #6482213. This subdivision of property is only for the purpose of allowing sale or lease of the unit lots. Development standards will be applied to the original parcel and not to each of the new unit lots.

Appeals of the above decision must be received by the Hearing Examiner no later than 6/30/2016.
