The Phinney Neighborhood Association’s PNA Village team is once again seeking volunteers!
Volunteers provide much of the talent and energy behind the PNA Village to help and create a vital network of support for people to age in their own homes.
The Village is hosting a volunteer recruitment event this Saturday, October 15, at the Greenwood Senior Center () from 3:30– 4:45 p.m. for people who are interested in volunteering and want to know more.
Potential volunteers will have a chance to hear current Village volunteers and staff talk about what it’s like to provide support that helps people age in their own homes and communities and to learn about the many types of volunteer jobs available.
There will be time for questions and discussion. Those who attend are also invited to attend, as our guests, the Village fall potluck at 5 p.m.
As a long time Village volunteer said, “I so enjoy the people I am getting to know, members and volunteers. It has enriched my life. I plan to keep doing this until I join as a member receiving services and have the joy of volunteers visiting me!”
