The talented musicians and singers from Ballard High School will kick off their Fall Concert Series next week and they are inviting locals to be take part.
The Series will begin with a Choir performance on Wednesday, October 26, at 7:30 p.m. Choir Director Courtney Rowley will lead off the season with the choir’s fall repertoire, which includes a number of works by up-and-coming American composers including Jake Runestad, Daniel Elder, Andrea Ramsey and Stacey Gibbs. Six vocal groups will entertain locals during a night of fantastic music!
On Wednesday, November 2, at 7:30 p.m. the Chamber Orchestra, Symphonic Orchestra, Fiddle Ensemble and the Whitman Middle School Advanced Orchestra are set to perform a variety of new and well-known classical favorites.
The final concert, set for 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 3, will feature the Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble. The concert will feature fanfares that are sure to entertain attendees.
All of the events will be held in the Earl Kelly Center for the Performing Arts (1418 NW 65th St) and admission is free.
