The talented performers in the Ballard High Performing Arts Department are busily preparing for the performance run of Les Misérables later this month.
The popular musical will be performed at Ballard High School in the Earl Kelly Center for Performing Arts (1418 NW 65th St) on March 16-18 and 23-25 at 7:30 pm, and March 26th at 2:00pm.
Les Misérables is the winner of 8 Tony Awards, and the BHS interpretation promises to deliver moving moments, humor, song and dance, 19th Century costuming and sets, and a non-stop musical score.
Tickets for the performances can be purchased online and cost $15 for Adults, $10 for Students and Seniors.
The BHS Performing Arts will also host a Dinner Gala Fundraiser on Saturday, March 18, at 5 p.m. to raise funds for the program.
Locals can reserve their seats for an unforgettable night of dinner and theatre. The “Meet the Actors” reception starts at 5pm, dinner will be served at 5:45pm, and the curtain goes up at 7:30pm.
Attendees will enjoy a relaxing meal and mocktail in the BHS Commons with fellow theatre fans then stroll on over to the Earl Kelly Performing Arts Center to prime reserved seats. Tickets for the Dinner Gala/Show combination start at $35 and can be reserved online.
