Theatre for Young Children will be back at the Ballard Community Center (6020 28th Ave NW) this Wednesday, May 3, to perform for local young people at 11:15 a.m.
The Theatre for Young Children team performed in Ballard back in February, and this time will be presenting two Tales from Tanzania: Two Ways to Count to Ten and Why Mosquitos Buzz in People’s Ears.
The performance is a collaboration between Sweet Pea Enterprises and Seattle Parks and Recreation called the North Seattle Arts Initiative. Since July of 2016 this new initiative has brought 12 live performances to neighborhood parks and community centers in North Seattle.
The NSAI will also be bringing this same show to Ballard Commons and Salmon Bay Parks this summer through the Seattle Office of Arts and Culture’s Arts In the Park grant.
Wednesday’s show has a suggested donation of $5.
