The annual Seattle Night Out registrations are now open, with funding now available from the Seattle Department of Neighborhoods. Night Out is held on August 1st, and is a national event that’s meant to bring communities together and prevent crime.
Up to $5000 per event is available through the Small Sparks Fund, a funding program that helps support local projects which promote community engagement. Night Out activities can include live music, sports tournaments, block parties, and pop-up markets.
To apply for funding, first register your event here before June 19, and apply for funding here before the deadline on June 21 (groups must register their events 48 hours before the deadline on June 21 at 5pm). For any help or more information, call 206-733-9916.
