On Veterans Day (Saturday, Nov. 11), Brown Bear car wash will be offering free car washes to all current or former members of the military. The free washes will be available at their Ballard location at 5111 15th Ave NW.
The free wash offer operates on an honor system; no verification or documentation of military service is required. They ask that drivers identify themselves as current or former members of the military to the wash attendant upon arrival.
Brown Bear will donate $1 for every car washed on Veterans Day to Puget Sound Honor Flight, which transports Western Washington war veterans to visit memorials in Washington, D.C.
