The Taco Time in Ballard is undergoing a huge remodel, which means it will be closed from Sept. 24 until the end of the year. The main restaurant is currently closed, but the drive-thru will remain open until the 24th.
Taco Time district manager Michael Macias says they’re changing the entire layout of the restaurant, adding an outdoor patio, and putting in all new furniture and seating. They’re rebuilding the kitchen, and putting in all new screens and menus.
The drive-thru will also be changed — it will be larger and easier to access, Macias says.
Macias says they hope to reopen by mid-December, but that’s subject to change depending on inspections and permitting.
I can’t wait!
It was all fenced off yesterday afternoon.
Finally! Hey, in all seriousness is it either this or $50 carne asada in Ballard? Why can’t we get real street tacos around here, FFS? This is a sanctuary city after all.
It is not the Carne Asada you are paying for, it is the rent the place has to pay for their space.
dont forget property tax and “living wages”
Because Seattle is not the place to eat Mexican food.
All the tax burden and none of the zesty cocina. SAD
Cause I’m from SanDiego you don’t know how good Mexican can be.
Go to Memos in U-District, it’s the only socal-style taco shop in Seattle
El Camion is really good, as is Taqueria Tequila. Both are fairly reasonably priced joints as well, although El Camion’s location is slated for demolition and rebuilding.
There are food trucks all over the place. You can’t drive anywhere in Seattle without encountering one. So why are you asking?
Shut the f*ck up, broheim. What are you, a taco shamer? Get woke! Taco shaming is totally 2017. Please grow up!
There’s one ‘L’ in “remodeling.”
Great…another patio for junkies to go shoot up
Later this month… Or 3 days ago
Oh and how is spehl cheque working out for you??
Remodelling… 🤣🤣🤣
El Ranchon in Magnolia has great food and reasonable prices.
Noted. Let’s hope I can get over there before the bridge collapses.
they should shut it down and open a real eatery. i love taco time but that place has some serious issues.
horrible service. argumentative. slow.
Horribly slow argumentative service?
Sounds like City Hall.
What kid of moron expects service and respect at a fast food place. An entitled one that’s who. There is a reason some people end up with spit in their food.
I enjoy the hot sauce.
Excellent news. I love eating at Taco Time and I hope the remodeling is at the same level as the food they cook.
Will there be a Grand Re-Opening Ceremony! Omg I hope!
