If you’re looking to get into the Halloween spirit and have young ones at home, you might want to check out the Loyal Heights Community Center’s Halloween Carnival on Friday from 6 to 8:30pm.
“Dress in costume and remember to bring a bag for your goodies,” the organizers write in the event info. They’ll have carnival games, a cupcake walk, face painting and arts and crafts. Older kids can play in their “Jungle Bounce House” and there will be an “Under the Sea” bounce house for the little kids.
The carnival is geared at 2- to 10-year-olds, but all are welcome. The community center is at 2101 NW 77th St — tickets cost $0.50 each, or unlimited activity bracelets will be sold for $10. Hot dogs and water will be for sale for $1 each — all ticket and food proceeds will go to support programs at the community center.
