The first Ballard District Council meeting of the year is tomorrow, Jan. 9 at the Sunset Hill Community Center. The speakers will be a collection of representatives from local member organizations, who will talk about accomplishments from 2018 and plans for the year ahead.
Here’s the agenda for tomorrow’s meeting:
- 7 – 7:15 p.m. — Introductions
- 7:15 – 8:20 p.m. — Member Organization Updates/Open Forum: The agenda will allow an opportunity for updates from member organizations. Each organization can give a short (approx. 5 minute) overview –- a recap of 2018 accomplishments and a preview of plans for 2019. If time permits, there will also be an opportunity for attendees to briefly talk about specific concerns they have, which will help the BDC formulate our agenda for 2019.
- 8:20 – 8:30 p.m. — Other Business/Discussion
All BDC meetings are free and open to the public.
I see Sunset Hill is still pretending they’re part of Ballard…
I see a confused few, attempting to speak for me.
According to Seattle, Sunset Hill is a sub-neighborhood of the Ballard neighborhood.
