Next week, several of the candidates running for District 6 will come together for a forum in Ballard.
The Ballard Alliance Candidate Forum will be held on Wednesday, May 15 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at the Leif Erikson Hall (2245 NW 57th St). Of the many candidates running, the following have confirmed they’ll be at the forum: Jay Fathi, Sergio Garcia, Jon Lisbin, Terry Rice, Dan Strauss and Heidi Willis.
The forum will be free and open to the public, and will be moderated by Enrique Cerna.

Fathi is Asian. Garcia is Latino.
I’m more interested in philosophical diversity. Do these people offer a choice, hope that Mike O’Brien’s successor won’t portend More Of Same. Let’s hope someone asks them:
