The 17th Annual Ballard Jazz Festival is about to take over Ballard for the next four days.
Each evening is themed, including the Celebration of the Drum on Wednesday, followed by the Guitar Summit on Thursday (both at Conor Byrne), the Mainstage Concert on Friday at the National Nordic Museum, culminating in the Ballard Jazz Walk on Saturday, starting at The Cathedral.
Wednesday’s Celebration of the Drum will feature D’Vonne Lewis’ Limited Edition, Steve Korn, and Jeff Busch; the Guitar Summit on Thursday includes Kathy Moore, John Stowell, and Lage Lund; and Friday’s Mainstage Concert with feature Lage Lund Trio and Ernie Watts with New Stories.
Several different venues in downtown Ballard will host the Ballard Jazz Walk with a multitude of concerts at Cathedral, Skål, Kula Movement, Landmark, Egan’s, Conor Bryne, Salmon Bay Eagles Club, and Bad Albert’s.

That’s not a ” Festival in Ballard “…..But the jazz festival in New Orleans is a Real Festival is which is held outdoors on stages and booze and food ! ….. nope not looking forward to it !
It’s okay to not want to attend and still say nothing about it.
