Pride month is kicking off in nearby Phinney Ridge this weekend with the 7th Annual PhinneyWood Pride Rainbow Hop on Saturday, June 1st.
The neighborhood-wide celebration will have family-friendly activities in businesses all over Phinney — click here for the map of events and locations.
One of the most popular activities is the Drag Queen Story Time, happening twice at the Greenwood Library. The story time will be hosted by drag queen community activist Londyn Bradshaw. It’s free, but requires tickets, which will be available on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 10am at the Greenwood Library.
Here’s the schedule:
- 10:30am: Drag Queen Story Time with Londyn Bradshaw and friends at the Greenwood Library;
- 11am – 1pm: Activities open at participating businesses
- 12pm: More Drag Queen Story Time with Londyn Bradshaw at Greenwood Library
- 1 – 1:30pm: Closing concert by The Harmonica Pocket
Each business will be giving out map stamps to kids — after six stamps, kids can exchange their maps for a free ticket to the Woodland Park Zoo.
More information about the event can be found here.
Gross.
Nope no mental illness among progressives, just exposing their kids to a group of people with the highest suicide and HIV rates. Perfectly normal!
You obviously have severe mental illness, I feel sorry for your family and I hope someday you can get yourself help.
I really think using mental illness as an insult on this site needs to stop, it’s truly no laughing matter.
What would be do without the moral guidance of a troll who engages in hate speech based on race and gender of children?
if someone gets constant pleasure out of trolling with divisive, hateful and ignorant language towards, or about people they don’t agree with, they have a mental illness. Period. Convince me otherwise.
CH – what is wrong with you? I thought we had got rid of you “Bucky”. Seems like you should have something better to do with your life!
I love watching the children enjoying this event. Drag Queen Story Time is absolutely delightful, this will be such a fun day for all involved.
I miss Joe Camel.
