You may recognize the name Kuma Coffee.
After all, they’ve been selling their coffee at the Ballard Market for the past nine years.
But their coffee has never been available at their roasting space, which is just across the Ballard Bridge, until now.
From 9am to 1pm on Saturdays throughout the summer, they’ll open up their headquarters (3401 Thorndyke Ave W, Suite 100) to the public.
Owner and roaster Peter Mark says the pop-ups will provide an opportunity to connect with their customers. “Our goal in doing it is for our customers to finally come see the roastery and visit with us, all the while drinking some delicious coffee!”
In addition to a new brew for each pop-up, they’ll also have different baked goods each Saturday. Customers will be able to choose between buying whole bean coffee, espresso (with or without milk), and hot and cold filtered coffee.

I’m so all in for this. They have some amazing roasts.
No thanks, I’ll frequent coffee shops that pay their farmers are living wage.
That’s pretty self-righteous for a hypocritical, POS troll!
Funny as hell that [she] knows how much a small local roaster who sources beans from around the globe pays “their farmers.”
