A warehouse in Frelard was damaged overnight by a fire at 600 NW 40th St.
Lauri Miller posted about the fire response in the My Ballard Group at 1:15am Monday morning, saying firefighters reported heavy smoke coming from a metal-clad warehouse.
Several engines and a fireboat were on scene fighting the blaze which Seattle Fire Tweeted was under control by 3:20 am.
No one was inside the building at the time of the fire. The cause is still unknown — we’ll update when we learn more.
