This Saturday, there will be a bike parade and party in Crown Hill to celebrate the new North Seattle Neighborhood Greenway and signalized crossing at Holman Rd NW and NW 92nd St.
Hosted by the Seattle Department of Transportation, the parade will kick off at Licton Springs Park, travel along the newly created greenway and finishing at Crown Hill Park with refreshments, face painting, and brief remarks from the organizers and Deputy Mayor Shefali Ranganathan.
If you can’t join at Licton Springs, the parade route will make stops at Fremont Ave NW/N 100th St and Sandel Playground to pick up more riders.
Riders who want to bike the whole parade should plan to meet at 10am at Licton Springs Park, with a bike decoration station set up for kids.
The ride will start at 10:30am, and will aim to be at the intersection of Fremont Ave N and N 100th St at 10:55am. The parade will then pass through Sandel Park by 11:10am, and should finish at Crown Hill Park by 11:30am.

Strange parade. Sure hope someone else is paying for it!
So we’re not allowed to have nice things or have fun?
Yeah that seems like some stock language from something aired on Sinclair
another ridiculous impediment for the thousands of people traveling through the area – because the nearest crosswalk/light waaaaaaay over by mcdonalds is sooooooo far away. no wonder americans are so fat…
