There’s a new bar opening soon in Ballard, aimed at dog owners and their fur-children.
The Dog Yard Bar, dreamed up by Downtown Dog Lounge owner Elise Vincentini, will be a 21+ indoor/outdoor dog-friendly bar. There will be food trucks, beer and wine for dog parents, and dog treats for the four-legged patrons. They’ll have a big screen TV for watching sports ball, plus an interactive play space with designated big/small dog areas.
The bar is taking the place of the former Ballard Automotive, which closed last year. It will be inside the old garage and the adjacent outdoor area.
It’s a busy start to 2020 for Vincentini, who is also launching a dog treat bakery in Fremont, set to open at the end of the month.
No word yet on when exactly the Dog Yard Bar will open, but we’ll update with more info when we know more. In the meantime, you can follow their progress on Instagram or their Facebook page.
Great news, my dog needs to get out more, socialize and get laid. Givin’ the dog a bone, as it were.
This is going to send paintking to the moon. But question: Can I bring my p*ssycat?
Sure, my dog is species-fluid, often identifies as a cat and loves a little pu$$y.
Meow meow, doggo! Let’s take this party downstairs!
Doggo? I’m offended that you would mis-species me like that and think it’s funny. My personal pronouns are Pu$$y/Grabber.
Bring it (or her, or whatever!).
Puffys are welcome everywhere.
I guess, if that’s all you have to offer. Please don’t quit your day gig.
Vincentini Literally killed my dog at the downtown dog lounge. Blew it off and took no responsibility. Later paid to get my posts removed from yelp, etc. it’s sad to see such a poor human being prospering.
Maybe your dog had it coming?
He “Literally killed” your dog? What, read it bad poetry?
I want to know about this dog yard and how people come here. I get to know about this from a cheap wireless fence for small dogs and that’s why I am here to know more about it.
