The popular music venue Tractor Tavern in Ballard has closed temporarily for coronavirus.
The Tractor will remain closed at least until April 2.
“It is with a heavy heart that we have made the decision to cancel all performances for the remainder of March 2020,” the Tractor writes on Facebook. “We do not feel confident that we can comply with the COVID-19/Coronavirus reduced capacity/ social distancing standards that are in effect.”
All tickets purchased between March 13 and April 1 will be cancelled, with refunds coming within the next week. Buyers will be notified of their refunds by email, the Tractor says.
“We’re working to minimize the impact on the artists and our staff and are working to reschedule things as much as possible. We hope that you consider donating to the many artist funds that are going around or directly to your favorite artists Patreon accounts, or online [merchandise] sales.”
