Ballard Food Bank updates hours and services

The Ballard Food Bank has changed their hours and services because of COVID-19, effective today, March 30.

“We are here for our neighbors in this time of crisis, and want to keep everyone as safe as possible,” Colleen Martinson from the Ballard Food Bank tells My Ballard.

Here are their new hours and service offerings:

  • Monday: 2pm – 7pm, Drive-thru food bank only in the Mox parking lot; no-cook bags at the side door on Ione Street; mail at the front door; sandwiches at the front door
  • Tuesday: 11am – 4pm, Home delivery only; NO drive-thru food bank; no-cook bags available at the side door on Ione Street; mail at the front door; sandwiches at the front door
  • Wednesday: 11am – 4pm, Drive-thru food bank only in Mox parking lot; home delivery; no-cook bags available at the side door on Ione Street; mail at the front door; sandwiches at the front door
  • Thursday: 2pm – 6pm, Drive-thru food bank only in Mox parking lot; home delivery; no-cook bags available at the side door on Ione Street; mail at the front door; sandwiches at the front door

For home deliveries, food will be dropped at the front door. To sign up for this program, they prefer that you enroll online here, or you can call the food bank at 206-789-7800 ext. 7.

For the drive-thru option, they say patrons may visit once per week, and they’re using Café Mox’s parking lot, next door to the food bank. Food bank volunteers will load a pre-packed food box to minimize person-to-person contact. They ask that drivers stay in their vehicles and queue up to wait for their turn.

  1. Writing of essay is not an easy task. Generally, students face this problem when they have to complete their assignments allotted from school/college. They search on the internet for essay writing experts. Sometimes they get trapped with fake websites and waste their money. For this go to the website I am suggesting where you can find the assignment topics of your choice and believe me the text provided by the experts on this website is unique and trustworthy.

  2. It has truly been a lifesaver for so many people, especially during these challenging times. I remember feeling so nervous the first time I went, but the volunteers were kind and welcoming, which made the experience much easier. It’s amazing how they’ve adjusted their services with curbside pick-up and deliveries to ensure everyone stays safe https://edible-arrangements.pissedconsumer.com/review.html Knowing they’re there for the community, even when things are tough, gives me so much hope. And edible arrangements are more than just food—they provide a sense of support and belonging. We’re lucky to have such a dedicated resource in our neighborhood.
