The Ballard Boys & Girls Club will host an outdoor screening of Ghostbusters for club members on Friday, Oct. 30 in their club playfield.
The free screening—open to club members only*—will be on a first-come, first-served basis for the first 50 groups to arrive; masks will be required and all attendees will be asked health screening questions and be given temperature checks. It’s recommended to bring your own blankets and chairs—they’ll mark out six-foot spaces for groups capped at five people. No outside food is allowed, but they will have a concession stand with snacks.
Hannah Tait from the club says they don’t recommend young children attend, as all groups will be asked to stay in their seats when not in line for snacks.
The event is a fundraiser for the Ballard Keystone Club, a teen leadership program within the Ballard Boys & Girls Club.
*The original version of the story didn’t specify that the event is only open to club members and their families.
