Ballard is losing another favorite: After four years on Crown Hill, The Dane (8000 15th Ave NW) will be closing their doors for good in April.
The owners announced the upcoming closure in a Facebook post on Sunday, saying their last day will be April 4th.
“We have enjoyed every minute of being part of this neighborhood! We look forward to every minute we have left,” the owners wrote in their post.
“As the world recovers from this virus, support all the small businesses that you can! We all need every hello, like, sale, thank you, recommendation, and as much positivity you can share.”
The Cycle Dogs food truck will be parked onsite until The Dane’s last day of business; after that, they’ll be gearing up to open their first brick-and-mortar in the former No Bones Beach Club location.
“Please give our incredible team the best socially distanced thank you that you can, we wouldn’t have made it this far without their resilience and love for The Dane. Thank you for all the support and love you have shown us!”
If you want to visit The Dane before they close, their hours are Sunday to Wednesday 8am-3pm, and Thursday to Saturday 8am-9pm. Their outdoor patio is open Thursday to Saturday 3pm-9pm.
