This Wednesday, there will be a Seattle City Council Candidate Forum to be held at the National Nordic Museum.
The Ballard District Council and Ballard Alliance have collaborated to produce the forum, happening Sept. 22 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Veteran journalist and Ballard resident Enrique Cerna will be moderating the forum in the Great Osberg Hall with a candidate meet-and-greet happening afterwards.
The forum will include a Q&A with candidate Ken Wilson, running for Citywide Position 8; and a forum with candidates Sara Nelson and Nikkita Oliver, running for Citywide Position 9.
There will be socially distanced seating available to the public; “Please be vaccinated, wearing a mask, and arrive a little early for the best seats,” the Ballard Alliance writes in the event information. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
If you don’t want to attend in person, the event will be broadcast on Ballard District Council’s YouTube channel.
