Ballard Midas closes permanently to make way for new development

The Midas Muffler in Ballard at 7055 15th Ave NW has closed its doors.

A staff member at the Bothell Midas told My Ballard that the Ballard location had been on a month-to-month lease because the land had been sold for development. Most of the Ballard staff members transferred to the Bothell location.

A land-use application filed in March 2020 indicates that the land will be subdivided into three parcels, each with five townhouses and parking.

The next-closest Midas locations are in Bothell and Lynnwood.
