There’s a new Vietnamese restaurant in Ballard: It’s called Crackle Mi and has opened in the former Gather location just across from the Ballard Library (5605 22nd Ave NW).
Gather closed quietly earlier this year, after shifting gears to become Harmony & Grain for a short stint. The restaurant space has been brought back to life, with Crackle Mi serving Vietnamese food such as banh mi, rice bowls, vermicelli noodle plates, and spring and fresh rolls.
It’s early days for Crackle Mi; they don’t yet have a website, and their social media presence is minimal. However, My Ballard Group member Bryce visited them on their opening day yesterday, saying they were “happily welcoming patient customers and already have a loyalty program in place.”
We’ll update when we learn more about their hours.
