Plans are rolling ahead for a new apartment complex on 8th Ave NW in Crown Hill.
The land use application calls for a 4-story, 66-unit apartment building at 9740 8th Ave NW, just southwest of the QFC on Holman Rd NW. Parking for 38 vehicles is in the plans.
The apartment would replace a multifamily home on 8th Ave NW, which sold for over $4 million in 2021. Another building, once used for Philadelphia Church’s Single Mothers Acquiring Resources & Training (SMART) program, will also be demolished to make way for the new apartment.
According to the design plans from architects Clark Barnes, residential access will be on 8th Ave NW and a parking garage will be accessible from 7th Ave NW.
