For the next two months, there will be free community pop-up events happening outside the Ballard Library.
The Ballard Alliance and Councilmember Dan Strauss have organized 10 upcoming events for the “Autumn Activation Series,” all planned for the outdoor space in front of the Ballard Library.
The series is part of an effort to bring events back to central Ballard while the Ballard Commons Park remains closed.
Here’s a line-up of events:
- Saturday, Sept. 24, 2:30-3:30 p.m.: Exercise class focused on soft tissue and mobility hosted by Strive & Uplift
- Wednesday, Sept. 28, 1-2 p.m.: Boxing and workout class hosted by Nomad Boxing Club
- Wednesday, Oct. 5, 1-2 p.m.: Boxing and workout class hosted by Nomad Boxing Club
- Sunday, Oct. 9, 12-2 p.m.: Kid’s activities and music hosted by Illumination Learning Studio
- Wednesday, Oct. 12, 1-2 p.m.: Boxing and workout class hosted by Nomad Boxing Club
- Saturday, Oct. 15, 9-10 a.m.: Workout hosted by Ballard Health Club
- Saturday, Oct. 15, 2:30-3:30 p.m.: Single-leg strengthening and balance class hosted by Strive & Uplift
- Wednesday, Oct. 19, 1-2 p.m.: Boxing and workout class hosted by Nomad Boxing Club
- Saturday, Oct. 22, 9-10 a.m.: Workout hosted by Ballard Health Club
- Sunday, Nov. 13, 12-2 p.m.: Kid’s activities and dancing hosted by Illumination Learning Studio
