This weekend, the National Nordic Museum will be hosting its 45th Annual Julefest celebration.
Julefest: A Nordic Christmas Celebration will be held Nov. 19 and 20 at the National Nordic Museum. The event is a “modern spin on a traditional market” with over 30 local artists, live entertainment, and traditional Nordic holiday fare.
Along with the Christmas market from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, there will also be several events for kids. Here are some of the Julefest for Kids activities that the museum is planning:
- Activity Books
- Tomte Hat Drop-in Craft
- Santa visits
- Viking Ship
- Nordic Music for Kids
There will also be a “Julefest After Dark” event held after the market is over from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19. at Skål Beer Hall (5429 Ballard Ave NW).
Julefest is free for museum members and is $10 for non-members—register online if you want to secure tickets.
