This Sunday, Feb. 5, there will be a Lunar New Year celebration in PhinneyWood.
Phinney Neighborhood Association (PNA) is hosting the event, which they say is going to become an annual occurrence in Phinney/Greenwood.
The event will start with lantern-making at the Phinney Center from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., followed by the Lieu Quan Lion Dance performance at 3:30 p.m. and a Seattle Kokon Taiko performance at 4:30 p.m.
“In the spirit of our Día de los Muertos and Holi celebrations, we are thrilled to collaborate with the Asian community to create a new annual event celebrating Lunar New Year,” PNA shared on their website.
