Record Store Day is tomorrow, April 22, and Sonic Boom Records in Ballard will be celebrating.
Sonic Boom, a Seattle vinyl staple since 1997, is planning for a busy day on Saturday with exclusive and regional releases on sale.
They’ll also offer a chance to win tickets to the THING Festival in Port Townsend in August.
The record store has a few guidelines to ensure a smooth Record Store Day: They are open during normal hours (11 a.m. to 7 p.m.) with just 10 customers allowed in the shop at a time. They ask that people limit their visit to 15 minutes and each customer will be allowed to purchase just one copy of each title.
Top Pot Doughnut will be on hand to serve coffee and donuts to shoppers.
If you want to carry on celebrating throughout the day, Easy Street Records in West Seattle will be hosting an in-store performance from The Rockfords at 7 p.m.
Sonic Boom has a full list of the records they’ll have on sale tomorrow on their website.
