Shilshole Marina boat fire draws large Seattle Fire response

Seattle Fire responded to a boat fire at Shilshole Bay Marina on Saturday.

SFD says the fire was started due to an electrical issue—no one was injured in the blaze.

The boat was reportedly docked on G dock, which is one away from the fuel dock at Shilshole.

Crews are responding to reports of a fire on a boat docked near the 7000 block of SEAVIEW AVE NW. Please avoid the area.

No other boats were damaged, and Seattle firefighters had the fire contained within an hour.
