A new coffee and shaved ice stand has opened up near Golden Gardens.
Called The Shore House, it’s located in front of Surf Ballard (6300 Seaview Ave NW).
Owner Tim Larson announced the opening in the My Ballard Group on Facebook, saying they have over 40 flavors and served “classic style shaved ice with a block shaver.” They’ll also have frozen bananas and other fresh fruit.
The Shore House’s hours are Tuesday, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Wednesday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. They’re closed on Mondays.
