Ballard Commons Park to show outdoor movies through the end of the summer

Outdoor movies are coming back to Ballard Commons Park.

The Movies in the Park series starts tomorrow, Thursday, August 3, and will continue for the next four weeks, through Aug. 24 on Thursdays. Ballard Alliance is hosting the series, and has chosen the theme “Out of this World” for the movie selections.

Here’s the schedule:

  • Aug 3rd: Lightyear (2022)
  • Aug 10th: The Iron Giant (1999)
  • Aug 17th: Mars Attacks! (1996)
  • Aug 24th: Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs (2009)

“Escape reality during these family-friendly nights as you munch on some free popcorn and watch some classics,” the Ballard Alliance writes.

The movies start at 7 p.m. Bring your own chair or blanket to watch the show.
