Ballard Bites & Brews returns to raise funds for the Ballard Food Bank this month

Later this month, the Ballard Food Bank will hold a summer street festival to raise money for the organization.

Ballard Bites & Brews will be on Sunday, August 27 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the street just outside of the Ballard Food Bank, on 14th Ave NW between NW 49th and 50th Streets, as well as on part of 49th.

This year, the festival will include non-alcoholic beverages including Fremont Brewing’s nonalcoholic IPA and mocktails from Town & Country Markets and Mox Boarding House.

The “Bites” part of the event will include food from local restaurants including Rough & Tumble, Ethan Stowell Restaurants, The Pantry, Tom Douglas and Co., Plenty of Clouds, Mox, PCC, and Lagana Foods.

Urban Family, Great Notion, Reuben’s, Bale Breaker, Fremont Brewing, Bickersons, Obec, Stoup, Wheelie Pop, Yonder Cider, Lucky Envelope, Fair Isle, and Maritime Pacific will be serving up beer.

There will also be live music from Reposado, Captain Preacher, and Jonny G and The Music Factory, with MC DJ SummerSoft.

Attendees can also check out the new Ballard Food Bank facility. They’ll be offering tours to guests and talking about their programming.

Tickets are online and include eight drink tickets. The event is 21+.
